Hey everyone! This weeks prompt for Top Ten Tuesday, hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, is all about books that give off summer vibes! I’l share some that I have read, and ones that are on my tbr for the summer season!
Books I’ve Read:
With The Fire On High by Elizabeth Acevedo- SOmething about all the food makes me feel like it’s perfect to read this book in the summer! The writing is gorgeous, and the romance is absilutely swoon-worthy!
Maybe This Time by Kasie West- This is definitely the perfect summer read: flowers, cute boys, and the perfect fluffy romance, what else could you ask for?
Summer Bird Blue by Akemi Dawn Bowman- I mean Summer is in the title for this one! It is set in Hawaii, and although it is a more emotional read than some of the other books on this list, the setting and all the surfing definitely made me think of summer.
Alex Approximately by Jen Bennet- This is one of my favorite YA contemporaries of all time! It’s set in small tourist and coastal town in California, and there is also a good amount of surfing in this book! The romance is so stinking cute, and Porter is one of my favorite love interests!
Love and Gelato by Jenna Evans Welch- This book screams summer! Not only is it set in Italy, but Lina, the main character, uncovers a magical world of secret romances, art, and hidden bakeries! Defintely pick this up if you’re looking for all the summer vibes!

I’ve seen ALEX, APPROXIMATELY on a number of blogs today. I’ve never read the book, but its cover definitely screams summer. “Dive-in” movies are a popular thing here in Arizona ๐

Love and Gelato was amazing and I can’t wait to read the next couple- I’ve been looking forward to them (the one set in Greece especially has me excited) but just haven’t gotten to the second one yet. I need to fix that.

Love in Luck is also amazing, but it does have a slightly heavier tone. I’m also super pumped for Love and Olives!
