Review:
I was such a fan of 10 Blind Dates, so I was so excited when the author announced another book following this family! And boy this book did not disappoint!
This book follows Sophia’s cousin, Olivia as she navigates senior year and trying to graduate on time. As a recent high school grad myself, this book was super relatable and I found myself nodding along with Olivia throughout the book. I adored her character, as she’s such a good person and so hyper focused; she doesn’t see the small things. And it only added to my enjoyment when we got glimpses of Sophia and Wes in this book! As with 10 Blind Dates, this story is full of wacky hijinks, romance, humor and touching family moments.
PLot-wise, I thought the pacing was really great. It’s quite fast paced, and I finished this book in one sitting. Once I started, I could not put it down. I had to know how it would end. Overall, this was another great YA contemporary by Elston. I will be reading any and all things she writes from here on out 🙂
